It’s lunch time. I’m going to find a bite to eat as soon as I’m done writing this.
And I wonder…Do birds ever truly get hungry, or do they just eat as a matter of course?
Kind of a stupid question, true. But I wonder about weird things like this once in a while.
I guess we’ll never really know the answer because we can’t talk to them and ask such a thing.
Now I’m wondering if they’d think it was a stupid question too.
Whatever the answer, if, like me, you have bird feeders in your backyard, what do you offer to soothe or satisfy your birds’ food needs?
I currently have nectar (homemade) for hummers, safflower seed, a seed mix with mostly sunflower seeds, suet, and peanuts in the shell.
